Hamid Asseffar

Hamid Asseffar currently serves as the Head of EMEA Sustainable & Impact Investing - Distribution and Head of Asset Managers, UK at Invesco Ltd. since November 2018, focusing on ETFs & Indexed Strategies and leading climate finance initiatives. Prior to this role, Hamid was the ETF Business Development Director at Amundi from November 2014 to October 2018. Earlier career experience includes positions at Credit Suisse as an Associate, working with trading strategies, and various roles within Amundi, including ETF & Index Funds Sales Analyst and ETF Capital Markets. Hamid began a career in finance with a summer internship at CIMR in 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Management with a focus on Financial Economics from EDHEC Business School, and an MSc in Risk & Investment Management from EDHEC Risk Institute, complemented by preparatory courses in Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Science for entrance to "Grandes Ecoles."
