Aaron Szarowicz

Aaron Szarowicz, MPA, currently serves as Project Manager for Business Attraction at Invest Atlanta, where responsibilities include promoting Atlanta as a business destination, successfully attracting or retaining businesses that generated $82.6 million in capital investment and 2,170 new and retained jobs in 2023. Prior to this, Aaron held the position of Economic Development Manager for the City of Douglasville, GA, where significant accomplishments included orchestrating a $30 million mixed-use development project and increasing the number of small businesses by 20%. Earlier roles included Community Outreach Coordinator and Local Government Management Fellow, where Aaron demonstrated expertise in economic strategy development and community engagement. Aaron holds a Master of Public Administration from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Criminal Justice Emphasis from Hope College.
