Lakeysha Hallmon

Lakeysha Hallmon, EdD, is an accomplished leader and educator based in Atlanta, GA. As CEO and Founder of The Village Market ® since April 2016, Hallmon has established an award-winning initiative focused on community empowerment. In addition, Hallmon serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for Invest Atlanta, where the individual chairs the URFA Housing Committee. As the Executive Director and Founder of Our Village United, Inc., established in June 2020, Hallmon advocates for holistic entrepreneurship development. With a background as an Education Consultant and Speaker at Phoenix Wings LLC since June 2015, Hallmon specializes in professional development training that emphasizes resilience, social and emotional learning, and culturally relevant pedagogy. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from Tougaloo College and two Master of Education degrees from the University of Mississippi, culminating in a Doctor of Education degree from Liberty University.
