Nazia Islam

Nazia Islam is a skilled professional with extensive experience in social work, policy analysis, and project management. Currently serving as a Manager at Invest India since October 2019, Nazia has progressed through various roles within the organization, including Assistant Manager and Associate. Prior experience includes working as a Project Coordinator at Navjyoti India Foundation and as a Policy Intern at NITI Aayog, where Nazia authored a significant research paper on promoting women entrepreneurship. Nazia also has experience in educational projects through roles at Bharti Foundation and Bal Sahyog, and has contributed to social development initiatives via internships and volunteer work in diverse organizations. Armed with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Nazia’s academic background also includes a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Handique Girls College. Notably, Nazia represented Tata Institute of Social Sciences at Monash University, presenting research at an international symposium.
