Kim van der Horst is an experienced talent strategist currently serving as Manager of Talent Strategy and Talent Attraction Strategist at Invest Ottawa, where support is provided to Ottawa-based tech companies in talent attraction, development, hiring, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Kim leads international talent attraction efforts, particularly focusing on markets in Hong Kong, France, and Morocco, and previously played a critical role as Talent Development Lead in the Xtreme Talent Accelerator Program, aiding over 600 Canadians in enhancing their tech skills. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Culture Studies from Tilburg University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Studies, complemented by various minors in Sociology and Human Resources.
