Laurence Fitzpatrick

Laurence Fitzpatrick, CFA, currently specializes in proprietary investments focused on event-driven and special situations within European high yield at Investec since February 2020. Prior experiences include serving as an Analyst for Distressed Debt & Special Situations at Reorg from November 2018 to February 2020, and as an Investment Analyst at Aberdeen Standard Investments from February 2016 to October 2018. Laurence's early career featured a role in FICC markets as an off-cycle intern at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and a prior internship at Aberdeen Standard Investments. Laurence also has a military background, having served as a Captain in the British Army from September 2008 to February 2015. Laurence holds the CFA Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute.
