Valerie Hyman

Valerie Hyman is an experienced consultant, educator, and community leader with a diverse background in journalism, management training, and housing advocacy. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at WUSF Public Media and as an awards judge for Investigative Reporters and Editors and the Radio Television Digital News Association, Valerie contributes to recognizing impactful journalism. As President of News & Management Training, Valerie specializes in enhancing organizational performance and supporting start-ups. Additionally, Valerie holds leadership roles as Race Director for the Chase the Dreidel 5K and Vice President of YIMBY St. Pete, advocating for affordable housing solutions. With a strong educational foundation, including a Nieman Fellowship from Harvard University, Valerie's expertise encompasses strategic planning, coaching, and community engagement.
