Bob Tian

Bob Tian is a highly experienced data scientist and portfolio manager currently employed at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) since July 2020, with a focus on total portfolio management and responsible investing. Prior to this role, Bob Tian worked at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan from October 2016 to July 2020, specializing in quantitative strategies and systematic investments. Bob Tian's earlier experience includes positions at NASA, contributing to lunar exploration research, and a climate change fellowship at the University of Toronto. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Physics and a B.Sc. in Physics and its Applications from the University of Toronto, as well as a Data Science Fellowship and courses in Mathematical Finance.
