Iva Parisi

Iva Parisi, CPA, CA has extensive experience in various roles related to finance and investment. Iva currently works as the Director of Private Markets Investment Risk & ESG at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) since September 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Principal at Whitestone Capital Advisors from July 2018 to August 2019.

Iva also held a senior position as a Senior Manager at BMO Global Asset Management - Canada, where they advised global executive business leaders on strategic initiatives and new investment products' financial and business risks. Iva played a key role in conducting due diligence for the launch of more than 50 new institutional and retail products, including alternatives, private equity, structured products, ETFs, and mutual funds. Additionally, they worked with senior management of newly acquired entities to ensure efficient business integration and performance.

Before their role at BMO, Iva worked as a Corporate Finance Advisor at Deloitte, where they served as a financial advisor to clients involved in infrastructure asset development and operation in various sectors. Iva managed end-to-end transaction processes, developed financing structures and feasibility plans, performed market analysis on behalf of public sector clients, and drafted transaction terms and conditions for offering documents.

Prior to that, Iva was the Vice President of Business Development at LIST, where they sourced and closed institutional sales and business development opportunities with Tier-1 investment banks. Iva successfully originated and closed a multi-million-dollar contract with Merrill Lynch.

Iva also has experience serving as a Board Director for Willowrock REIT and working as a Risk & Data Analytics Manager at RBC. Iva started their career as an AVP Corporate Finance at PwC, where they executed infrastructure transactions and supported clients through the acquisition and divestiture process.
