Allison Edmondson

Allison Edmondson has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Allison is currently working as the Director of Communications at Investments & Wealth Institute since 2023. Prior to this, they were a student at New York University's Certificate in Financial Planning program starting in 2021.

From 2018 to 2021, they held the role of Director of Corporate Communications at BNY Mellon. Before that, Allison worked at Pershing, a BNY Mellon company, from 2010 to 2018. During this time, they held various positions, including Vice President of Thought Leadership and Advisor Programs, Vice President of Segment Marketing, and Assistant Vice President.

Their earliest work experience was as an Advertising Manager at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company from 2006 to 2010.

Allison Edmondson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from James Madison University. Allison also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a Marketing Concentration from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained certifications in series 24 and series 7 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in December 2012 and August 2012, respectively.
