Alexandra Kerr

Director, Brand Marketing & Communications at Investopedia

As Director of Brand Marketing & Communications, Alexandra oversees production of Investopedia and The Balance's media appearances, newsletters, social media, and data journalism for earned media.

She began her career as a producer in talk radio, and has also served as a script consultant on several films. In 2011, Alexandra became managing editor of Ideal Home Garden, covering trends in home decor, gardening, cooking, crafts, and entertaining. In 2013, she began reporting and editing for Investopedia, covering personal finance. From 2016 to 2019, Alexandra produced all of Investopedia's on-camera interviews, as well as branded video series for some of the country's top financial institutions. Since 2019, she's managed earned media, brand marketing and communications.

Alexandra received her bachelor's in journalism from Azusa Pacific University.
