Olof Hernell

Olof Hernell is an accomplished professional in the fields of digital transformation and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Managing Director of Portfolio Operations, Digital and AI at Investor AB since September 2025. In addition, Olof is the Chairman of the Board at Bardo and has held board positions at WeMind Psykiatri and Dryft. Previously, Olof was Chief Digital Officer at Stegra and served on the AI Commission at Regeringskansliet. Olof's extensive experience includes a notable tenure as CDO at EQT Partners and various leadership roles at Google, including Head of Android and Chrome HW for the Nordics. Olof also contributed as Deputy Chairman of Dataföreningen, Stockholm, and held multiple managerial roles at Avalon Innovation AB. Olof holds an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, obtained in 2000.
