With over US$500 million in investments and 80+ portfolio companies, we work with leading North American registered security firms to offer accredited investors private equity investment opportunities in companies including Airbnb, SoFi, Spotify, DocuSign, Patreon, and many more. We have successfully launched multiple SPVs (Special Purpose Vehicles) and diversified funds and are currently investing in our 4th Fund.

About the Role 

As an Investment Marketing Associate at InvestX, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, leveraging your prior experience in the investment realm to play a pivotal role in managing our tools, systems, and processes. Your primary responsibility will be the creation of compelling marketing materials for our diverse range of investment products, including Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and Funds. 

Location: New York, New York  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative marketing materials that effectively communicate the value propositions of our investment products. This includes but is not limited to presentations, one pagers, pitch decks, company updates, sales and social content.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, Legal, and Compliance, to ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Collaborate with subject matter experts to extract relevant information and insights.
  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure all marketing materials adhere to regulatory guidelines and compliance standards. Work collaboratively with the Legal and Compliance teams to review and approve content, ensuring accuracy and legality.
  • Tool and System Management: Take ownership of our marketing tools and systems, optimizing their utilization to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency. Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve our marketing capabilities.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and investor preferences. Use insights gathered to enhance the positioning of our investment products in the market.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing materials, campaigns, and strategies. Provide recommendations for improvements based on data-driven insights to contribute to the ongoing success of our marketing efforts.

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in financial services, investment banking, and or venture firms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite.
  • Experience with Marketing tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, or Marketing Cloud.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and wear multiple hats.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for reporting
  • Experience working with design software, including InDesign or Illustrator.
  • Experience with WordPress or CMS will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships internally across the organization and externally.
  • Highly organized and detailed, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, resilient under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable in a high performance and deadline-oriented working culture.
  • Positive work ethic, ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Salary & Benefits  

  • Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, location and qualifications for the role
  • 2024 range is $70,000 - $90,000 USD plus incentive plan
  • Comprehensive Health & Benefit plan
