Chuck Brownawell

Chuck Brownawell has been in the cyber security field since 1991. Chuck began their career in the US Air Force, where they served as an Information Assurance NCOIC. Chuck was an integral team member of the Command, Control, Communication, Computer Information (C4I) Systems work-center with the Special Operations / Joint Forces Command (SOCJFCOM). In 2001, they joined Sprint as the National Security, Infrastructure Protection & Compliance (Cyber, NS/EP & CI/KR) and also served as the Chair to the Communications - Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Comm-ISAC). In 2015, they joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Senior, Information System Security Engineer (ISSE). Currently, they are a Sr. Cyber Security Manager and Facility Security Officer (FSO) at Invex Technology Solutions.

Chuck Brownawell earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University in 2003. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 1997.
