Babak Behnam Azad began their career in 2012 at Johns Hopkins Medicine, where they completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship from February 2012 to November 2016. Babak then held roles as an Assistant Professor of Radiology from November 2016 to April 2023 and as the Technical Director of the Center for Translational Molecular Imaging from November 2021 to April 2023. In 2023, they transitioned to become the Senior Director of Clinical Chemistry at Invicro.
Babak Behnam Azad pursued their education in Radiochemistry and Molecular Imaging, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University in 2005. Babak then continued their studies at McMaster University, completing their Master of Science degree in 2007. Babak furthered their academic journey by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Western University in 2012.
