Keddrick Thompson Sr., CASP

Keddrick Thompson Sr. has over 17 years of experience in various roles related to information technology and security. Currently, they are working as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) at Invictus International Consulting, LLC where they develop and maintains a formal security program and policies and provides technical and procedural IS security advice to government and industrial teams. Prior to this, they worked as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) at Perspecta where they determined clients' security requirements and designed systems to maintain the security of their information. Keddrick has also worked as a Cyber Security Systems Engineer for Silotech Group at DISA and as a System Administrator (SCCM) at Blue Canopy. Keddrick served in the United States Army Reserve for over 16 years in multiple roles, including as a Senior IT Specialist, Section Manager, OC/T Instructor, Hub Node (Baseband) Team Leader, Administrative Specialist, Radiotelephone Operator, and Fire Team/Squad Leader. In these roles, they provided technical support to over 100 clients, maintained network and cable connectivity, and operated communication equipment during combat patrol.

Keddrick Thompson Sr., CASP earned an Associate of Science degree in Information Technology from ITT Technical Institute-Greenville in 2005-2009, followed by an Associate of Science degree in Master Fitness Trainer from ISSA in 2013-2014. Keddrick later obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security Management and Policy from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2015-2019. Additionally, they received several certifications, including CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA, and Define Phase and Project Selection, Lean Six Sigma Overview, and White Belt of Six Sigma Methodology from SixSigma.us in different months and years.
