Richard Jackson

Richard Jackson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Richard is currently working at Inviqa as the Retail Business Development Director since February 2021. Prior to this role, they were the Managing Director of the Inviqa Retail Portfolio from May 2016 to September 2022.

Before joining Inviqa, Richard was a Co-Founder and Director at Session Digital, a Magento Ecommerce agency, from February 2010 to May 2016. Richard played a crucial role in growing the company into the largest and most respected Magento implementation partner in the UK.

Richard also has experience as the Managing Director at Leftfield Digital Ltd, where they oversaw a talented team delivering integrated and digital solutions for various clients in the public sector, retail, and tourism industries. During their tenure, the company received a Webby Award for their work for Nakheel Dubai.

Richard served as the Head of Digital at Exentric Thinking from February 2004 to June 2006 and as the Founder of Context Partners Ltd from June 2000 to February 2004. At Context Partners, they specialized in bringing digital marketing to the FMCG industry and eventually sold the business to Excentric Thinking Group.

Richard's career started as an Account Executive at PPHN in 1993 and later became an Account Director at Marketing Drive from 1994 to 2000. Richard began their professional journey as a Developer at Data by Design in 1992.

Throughout their career, Richard has built strong relationships within the ecommerce and retail communities and collaborated with technology partners such as Magento, Salesforce, BigCommerce, and CommerceTools. Richard has also contributed to the Magento product and community, won numerous awards, and built a notable client list.

Richard Jackson completed their education in a chronological order starting with their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick, which they pursued from 1988 to 1991. Richard then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Audio Engineering from the University of Essex in the period of 1992 to 1993.

In addition to their formal education, Richard Jackson has also acquired various certifications throughout their career. In June 2012, they became a Magento Developer Certification Board Member, demonstrating their expertise in Magento Ecommerce. In January 2020, they achieved Adobe Sales Accredited: Experience Driven Commerce certification from Adobe. Furthermore, in June 2020, Richard obtained the Magento Commerce: Sales Accreditation from Adobe, further enhancing their skills in the field.
