Emmanuel Vertongen has been working in the business and sales industry since 1997. Emmanuel began their career as a Key Account Manager and Export Area Manager for Krystaltech Lynx Europe. During this role, they were responsible for sales and marketing activities for a subsidiary that distributed photopolymer holograms and lenticular images. Emmanuel then moved to CBM, where they worked as a Sales Representative in 2007. In 2008, they joined MicroEJ as a Sales & Marketing Manager, promoting Java platforms to manufacturers of embedded systems. In 2012, they became the Export Director for Elan City and, in 2022, they took on the role of International Business Developer for InVirtus Technologies.

Emmanuel Vertongen's education history includes studying Business Administration and Management, General at NEOMA Business School from 1991 to 1993, followed by a Diplom Betriebswirte from ESB Business School, Reutlingen University from 1993 to 1995. In 2017, they attended a 3 day training in Sales Team Management at M2i Formation. In 2018, they completed a 5 day training in Motivation & Management at Gilles Roux Management. Most recently, in 2019, they completed a 3 day training in Enneagramm, efficient communication and management at Regard9.
