Raymond McCarthy Bergeron

Raymond McCarthy Bergeron has a diverse and extensive work experience across various companies and roles. Raymond is currently the Director of Technology Innovation at InVision Communications, where they founded the Innovation Experience Center (IXC), focusing on bridging art and technology for future-forward experiences. Raymond drives innovation in areas such as digital engagement, XR, digital twins, Web3, and the Metaverse. Prior to this, they served as the Digital Experience Director at InVision Communications, where they built digital ecosystems for experiential activations and communications campaigns.

Before joining InVision Communications, Raymond was self-employed, providing strategy, direction, and design expertise in global live and virtual events production, animation, motion graphics, and more. Raymond also worked as the Director of Technology Innovation at VIVA Creative, where they led interactive installations, game production, AR/VR/MR activations, and animations. Additionally, they served as a Senior Motion Graphics Designer, creating graphics packages for live event shows and projects for Fortune 500 companies, NGOs, and government organizations.

Raymond has also contributed to the education sector, working as a Fulbright Specialist Program instructor in 3D design and animation and as an Animation/Video Editing Faculty at The Governor's Institutes of Vermont. Raymond has also held positions at Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Maryland Baltimore County, where they oversaw websites, media production, and animation.

Furthermore, Raymond has a background in technology support and management. Raymond worked as a Technical Project Director of the Emergent Media Center and Application Support Specialist at Champlain College, where they managed IT infrastructure and budgets. Raymond also served as a Media Services Manager, Network Technician, and Helpdesk Technician at Champlain College, handling A/V needs, network support, and helpdesk services.

Raymond McCarthy Bergeron holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Film & Animation from Rochester Institute of Technology. Raymond also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems and another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Multimedia & Graphic Design from Champlain College. Additionally, Raymond has acquired several certifications, including "Learning Python", "Maya 2018 Essential Training", "Python Quick Start", and "Interaction Design: Interface", from LinkedIn. The certifications were obtained in 2020, with the most recent one being obtained in May.
