Randy Scott

Randy Scott is the Co-Founder and Chairman at Invitae. Randy has over 25 years of experience in the biotech industry, with a focus on genomics and personalised medicine. Randy was the Executive Chairman at Talis Biomedical Corporation from January 2017 to September 2019. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Invitae from August 2012 to January 2017, and the Executive Chairman of Genomic Health from January 2009 to August 2012. From January 2000 to December 2009, they were the CEO of Genomic Health. From 1991 to 2000, they were the President and Chief Scientific Officer at Incyte Pharmaceuticals. Randy is also a Director at Genome Medical, and a Senior Director of Research at Freenome.

Randy Scott has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Kansas and a B.S. in Chemistry from Emporia State University.
