The ideal candidate will be responsible managing and maintaining multiple customer networking environments, look for ways to streamline and automate processes, and search for solutions to ensure the best customer experience.

Network Operations Center Technician

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot customers IT services, policies, and configurations

  • Help coordinate onboarding for new Managed Services customers

  • Handle action calls and tickets for customers reaching out to the NOC and escalate as appropriate

  • Respond and action to alerts

  • Handle internal troubleshooting of INVITE devices

  • Perform monthly MACD audits for our managed services customers

  • Document and maintain internal processes and procedures

Required Experience

  • Broad networking knowledge including network and infrastructure software, hardware, network, and wireless and server room equipment such as racks, switches, end user devices, and other related equipment

  • 1-3 years of IT experience including support, implementation, design, and managing IT network devices and related equipment

  • Familiarity with Site-to-Site VPN Tunnels

  • NGFW Security Policy setup, configuration, and troubleshooting

  • Physical and Logical Network Diagramming Experience

  • Capacity to prioritize and focus during network outages

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Palo Alto, Cisco/Meraki, Juniper, Ubiquiti, Aruba, and/or SilverPeak

  • Windows, Linux, or other OS administration experience

  • Experience writing scripts in Python and/or Powershell

  • Certifications

  • CCNA

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
