Christopher E Hopkins, PhD, MBA has an extensive work experience in the biomedical field. Christopher E began their career in 1987 as a Research Technician in the lab of Dr. Toto Olivera at the University of Utah, where they invented the snail milking technique used to isolate conotoxin neuropeptides. In 1996, they moved to Hybridon, Inc. as a Research Associate. Following this, they completed their graduate degree at Boston University in 1997. In 2003, they completed a Post Docorate at the University of Utah. From 2009 to 2012, they served as the Founder and Chief Science Officer at Knudra Transgenics, where they developed Genomes Built to Spec. In 2012, they founded AxumBio, where they developed discovery platforms for finding novel anti-parasite drugs. In 2017, they joined InVivo Biosystems as the Chief Science Officer and facilitated market expansion of their proprietary systems into pharma, biotech and related industries. In 2018, they started DevineBio, providing Interim CSO consulting to emerging foundations and companies in the biotech space. In 2022, they joined cureCADASIL as a member of the SAB and helped found the CADASIL Disease Modeling Group.

Christopher E Hopkins, PhD, MBA has an extensive education history. Christopher E obtained their Ph.D. in Molecular-Cellular Biology and Biochemistry from Boston University between 1997 and 2003. Christopher E then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Westminster College between 2010 and 2012. Christopher E'sundergraduate degree was a BS in Biology from the University of Utah, which they obtained between 1986 and 1991. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in August 2020.
