Aanika Das, PharmD, BCPS has a diverse range of work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Starting in 2014, Aanika worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Walgreens, where they gained experience in patient counseling, drug reviews, medication therapy management, and corporate management. Aanika also developed an educational presentation on immunizations for the elderly and compounded special order medications.
In 2017, Aanika joined the San Diego VA Health Care System as a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident. During this time, they completed rotations in investigational drugs/research, drug safety, and informatics. Aanika worked closely with the research pharmacist to understand the process of IRB submission and investigational drug use. Aanika also managed operational aspects of pharmacy services for clinical trials, including processing and dispensing blinded investigational medication orders.
In 2018, Aanika took on the role of Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Pain Management at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Aanika'sresponsibilities included establishing and operating face-to-face and telephone pain pharmacy clinics, prescribing and adjusting non-opioid pain medications, designing opioid tapers, and working with high-utilizing opioid patients to transition away from opioid therapy. Aanika also monitored patients' lab parameters to ensure safe prescribing of medications and operated an e-consult service to address provider questions through comprehensive chart reviews.
Moving to Gilead Sciences in 2019, Aanika first worked as an Associate Manager, Medical Information (Contractor) before being promoted to Manager, Global Medical Information in 2020. In these roles, they played a crucial role in providing medical information and support to healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders. Aanika contributed to the development of medical materials and responded to medical inquiries. Aanika also managed operational aspects of medical information services and collaborated with cross-functional teams.
Currently, Aanika is working at Invivyd as a Senior Manager, Medical Affairs. In this position, they support the creation and maintenance of critical slide decks, liaises with internal teams and external vendors for publication planning efforts, leads the development of standard response documents, and supports planning and operational needs for advisory boards. Aanika also conducts competitive intelligence efforts, works closely with commercial and marketing partners to provide medical insight, and operationalizes tactical plans.
Throughout their career, Aanika has been involved in various cross-functional projects, including advisory boards, marketing and commercialization efforts, manuscript and poster development, and competitive intelligence. Aanika has also been responsible for reviewing and approving medical and commercial materials and advising on technology and digital solutions to benefit medical affairs.

Aanika Das, PharmD, BCPS completed their education at The University of Texas at Austin. Aanika obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology, General from the university from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from The University of Texas at Austin, College of Pharmacy, graduating in 2017.
Aanika has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2019, they earned a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) certification from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties. Aanika has also completed the IV Sterile Products and Admixtures Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. Additionally, they hold a Licensed Pharmacist certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Aanika has further advanced their knowledge and skills through certifications such as Medication Therapy Management Certificate and Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certificate, both obtained from the American Pharmacists Association.
