Jon Plummer

Jon Plummer has extensive experience in user experience and design, with a focus on research, UI/UX design, and product management. Jon has held multiple leadership roles at various companies, including Invoca, Cayuse LLC, Concentric Sky, Belkin International, and Medtronic. Throughout their career, they have been instrumental in developing design processes, leading teams, and delivering successful products. Jon's expertise spans across web and mobile applications, software development, industrial design, and user research. Jon has also presented at conferences on topics related to UX practice and accessibility. Prior to their career in UX and design, Jon worked as a Production Manager and Graphic Designer at A.T. Kearney, Inc. and as a Design Engineer at Mann Consulting.

Jon Plummer earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Washington in 1994. Jon later obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Michigan in 1996. In addition, Jon holds certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner and Certified Usability Analyst, obtained in 2015 and 2006 respectively. Jon has also completed various LinkedIn courses, including training on writing in plain language, bystander training, communicating across cultures, and confronting bias, among others.
