Derek Herzer

Derek Herzer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Derek most recently worked as a Business Analyst at INVOKE starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Client Success at MPX from January 2022 to October 2022. From February 2021 to January 2022, Derek worked as a Business Operations Specialist at Payscout. Additionally, they held the role of Team Leader - Account Relationship Managers at Synergent from March 2020 to December 2021.

Derek also has a strong background in customer service and technical operations. Derek worked at EVO Payments, Inc. from 2016 to 2020, where they held various roles including Manager, Customer Service and Retention, Supervisor, E-commerce Customer Service, Team Lead, Escalations/Technical Operations, and Technical Operations Representative.

In addition to their professional experience, Derek has a passion for music. Derek has worked as a Pianist at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Brunswick, ME from September 2015 to February 2020, and as Music Faculty at both Bay Chamber Music School from August 2013 to July 2017, and the Portland Conservatory of Music from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they were an Accompanist at ORATORIO CHORALE from January 2011 to August 2016, and a Music Faculty member at Crescendo Academy of Music from 2007 to 2011.

Derek Herzer attended Western Michigan University from 2006 to 2010, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study during that time. Derek later pursued a Master of Music at the University of Southern Maine from 2011 to 2013 in the field of Music.
