Tom Lang

Tom Lang has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and data center operations. Tom began their career at Insurance.com as an IT Manager, where they managed a team and was responsible for system continuity and performance. Tom then moved on to Vocon as an IT Director, overseeing all IT functions and technical contracts for the company. Most recently, they worked at Involta as the Director of Data Center Operations, where they were responsible for creating and implementing data center operations models, managing budget forecasts, and overseeing construction projects. Tom Lang has a strong background in managing IT operations and is experienced in data center management.

Tom Lang attended John F. Kennedy High School from 1981 to 1984, where they obtained their Diploma. Tom studied Mechanical Drafting and Mechanical Drafting CAD/CADD during their time there. In 1987, Tom enrolled at Hickok Technical Institute, where they studied Mechanical Drafting and Math. Tom obtained a degree in Drafting from the institute in 1988.

In addition to their formal education, Tom Lang has also obtained several certifications. In May 2018, they received the EXIN EPI® Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager certification from EXIN. Later, in December 2022, they achieved the Data Center Practitioner certification from DCD>Academy.
