Priya Singha

Priya Singha, PhD has worked in a variety of roles in the bioengineering field since 2012. In 2012, they were a Bioinformatics Trainee at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences. In 2013, they were an Informatics Trainee at Jubilant Biosys and a Research and Development Trainee at Biocon. In 2014, they were a Graduate Assistant at UC Irvine and a Science Teacher at i2 Camp. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Research Assistant and Lab Manager at The University of Georgia. Since 2019, they have been the Head of Analysts - Bioengineering at Invoy, where they have also been an Analyst & Clinical Engineering Manager and a Senior Bioengineer & Health Analyst. In these roles, they have established strategic goals for the team, created project timelines and schedules, developed personal growth opportunities for team members, designed and developed biosensors, and optimized bioinformatics algorithms.

Priya Singha, PhD holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The University of Georgia, a Master's of Science in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine, and a Bachelor's in Engineering in Biotechnology from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Priya has also obtained various certifications, such as Protecting Human Research Participants from Protecting Human Research Participants (PHRP) Online Training, Inc. in May 2021, SQL Fundamentals from SoloLearn in June 2020, Security Awareness from Veracode in May 2020, HIPAA Privacy Essentials and HIPAA for Non-Medical Employers from Skillsoft in June 2019, Laboratory Safety from OSHA Safety Training Institute in June 2019, and Human-Centered Design Thinking Essentials Ambassador-Executive Education from University of Georgia - Terry College of Business in May 2019.
