Benson Ngai has a diverse range of work experiences. Benson started as a Software Engineer Intern at Omphalos Lifesciences Inc, where they built a high-level programming language for simulating biosystems. Benson was responsible for designing syntax and developing an interpreter and transcompiler in C and C++.

Benson then worked as a UI Developer at Invstr, where they documented designs of the app and prepared blueprints for the brokerage phase. Benson also contributed to blueprinting screens for the Invstr+ brokerage and Invstr Jr.

Benson also founded UpGrade Tutoring, a tutoring platform connecting students nationwide, where they conducted over 500 tutoring sessions and organized free online Zoom tutoring sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Benson worked as a Software Engineer & Game Mechanics Lead at MoleculeGoApp, where they developed a geolocation educational biology app using React Native and Google Maps API. Benson also participated in code reviews with the team.

Lastly, Benson worked as a Student Researcher at The University of Texas at Dallas, where they contributed to the development of the biochemistry educational app MoleculeGo and presented on generative adversarial networks in a graduate student machine learning study group.

Overall, Benson has a strong background in software engineering, development, and education.

Benson Ngai obtained their High School Diploma from Plano West Senior High School between the years 2019 and 2021. Benson then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin, starting in 2021 and expected to graduate in 2025.
