Christoph Birkholz

Christoph Birkholz has extensive work experience in various companies and organizations. Christoph co-founded Impact Hub Zürich in 2009 and served as the President of the Board. In 2016, they co-founded Kickstart Innovation and held the same position. Christoph became a Board Member at Panter AG in 2017 and later joined Panter Consulting Company Ltd. as a Board Member in 2022. In 2020, they became a member of the Board at Alternative Bank Schweiz. Christoph also served as a Co-Founder and Prokurist at Inyova Impact Investing from 2017 onwards. In 2019, they co-founded Impact Hub Switzerland and was the Co-President until 2022. During the same period, they also became a member of the Board at Quantworks AG. Christoph participated as a Team Member in the Versus Virus initiative in 2020, working on crisis response in Switzerland. Christoph recently became a Vorstandsmitglied at Verein Innovationsfonds in 2022.

Christoph began their academic journey in 2003 at the FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, where they pursued a degree in International Investment and Risk Management. Christoph successfully completed their studies in 2006, earning a Diploma in Business Administration (Dipl.-Kfm. (FH)).

In 2006, Birkholz furthered their education at the Universität Witten/Herdecke, where they enrolled in the General Management program and obtained their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree. Christoph dedicated three years to this program, graduating in 2009.

Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, Birkholz joined the University of St.Gallen in 2009 and spent the next five years working towards their Ph.D. in Impact Investing. Christoph completed this program in 2014, successfully earning their Ph.D. degree.

During their educational journey, Birkholz also participated in various executive education programs. In 2008, they attended IPADE Business School as a visiting student and completed an MBA program. In 2012, they attended INSEAD for the ISEP Executive Education program, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
