Rafael Millán has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Rafael started their career in 2009 as an intern at Washingtonian Magazine. In 2011, they worked as a communications intern at the Organization of American States. Rafael then joined Nurun in 2012 as a project manager intern. In 2013, they worked as a communications intern at FING. From 2014 to 2016, Rafael served as a project manager at Five by Five & Open Data Institute Paris, where they worked with clients such as SNCF, OECD, Keolis, and STIF. In 2014, they also interned at SNCF as a monitoring and project development intern. Rafael's experience in the tech industry began in 2017 when they joined Trainline as a backend developer, contributing to the development of a global rail platform. Rafael then joined COUP Mobility in 2019 as a backend engineer, where they played a role in the eScooter sharing service. In 2020, Rafael worked as a backend developer at YoupiJob, focusing on outsourcing chores and errands. Currently, they hold the position of senior backend developer at Inyova Impact Investing, a leading provider of sustainable financial investments. Their work involves developing an online platform for customers to invest in companies that address global challenges such as climate change and human rights.
Rafael Millán's education history starts in 2008 when they enrolled at Sciences Po, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Ibero-American Campus. After completing their Bachelor's degree in 2011, they continued their education at Sciences Po and obtained a Master's degree in Communications between 2011 and 2014.
In 2010, Rafael took part in an exchange program at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, where they focused on Communications and journalism areas.
Later in 2017, Rafael attended Le Wagon, where they completed a program in FullStack Development, specializing in Web Development. This educational experience marked their acquisition of skills in this particular field.
