Raman Samusevich is a Machine Learning Researcher at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics since July 2021, focusing on predictive methods for protein functions. Concurrently, Raman serves as a Biological Machine Learning Researcher and PhD student at IOCB Prague, contributing to bioinformatical tools for terpene synthases critical for drug design. Experience includes a part-time role as an Advanced R&D Engineer/Scientist at Honeywell, working on machine learning projects for smart buildings, and a recent visiting researcher position at MIT under Prof. Barzilay. Raman holds patents in predictive maintenance and HVAC systems and has a strong academic background with a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's in Control Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague. Prior experience includes data analysis and research roles with O2 Czech Republic, Télécom Paris, and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Prague.
