Karolien Vanherp is a seasoned marketing technology professional currently serving as the Marketing Technology Lead at iO since March 2024. Prior experience includes leading marketing and data transformation initiatives at Accenture Song from January 2022 to March 2024, where Karolien acted as the Lead Functional SME for experience platforms, assisting clients in navigating the complexities of multi-channel customer experiences. At Capgemini Belgium, Karolien worked from October 2015 to January 2022 as a Managing Consultant, focusing on Adobe Marketing Cloud implementations, and also served as a Digital Customer Experience Consultant, improving web projects with Adobe solutions. Earlier, an internship at VVOB Vietnam provided experience in communications and promotional material development. Karolien holds a Master of Science in Human-Centred Systems from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Interactive Multimedia Design from Thomas More Mechelen.
