Christine Rothe

Christine Rothe has a significant amount of work experience in the biotech industry. Christine is currently the Chief Development Officer (CDO) at iOmx Therapeutics AG since February 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at Pieris Pharmaceuticals, including Vice President of Early-Stage Project Leadership & Data Science from June 2021 to January 2023, Vice President of Research Platform & Alliances and Head of Discovery & Alliance Management from September 2011 to May 2021, and Senior Director of Alliance Management from October 2010 to August 2011. Before joining Pieris Pharmaceuticals, Christine worked at MorphoSys AG, where they held positions such as Associate Director of Target Sourcing from June 2008 to September 2010, Manager/Senior Manager of International Project Management and Alliance Management from November 2002 to May 2008, Associate Director of Antibody Research from August 2000 to October 2002, Project Leader of Antibody Technology Development from December 1998 to July 2000, and Scientist in Antibody Technology from July 1997 to November 1998.

Christine Rothe has a strong educational background in the field of Cell Biology and Plant Physiology. Christine obtained their Diplom in Biologie from the University of Regensburg in 1991. Following this, they pursued their Doktor (Ph.D.) degree from the same university, completing it in 1996. During their time as a Ph.D. student, they specialized in Cell Biology and Plant Physiology. Afterward, Christine Rothe continued their education by undertaking a Post-doctoral Fellowship in Cell Biology and Plant Physiology at the University of Regensburg from 1996 to 1997.
