Stefan Kaden

Stefan Kaden has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology. Stefan is currently working as the Group Leader Protein Science at iOmx Therapeutics AG since 2023. Prior to this, Stefan worked at MorphoSys from 2010 to 2023, where they held multiple roles including Senior Scientist II in Biologics Development & Analytics, Downstream Processing, Senior Scientist in Protein Sciences & CMC, Downstream Processing, and Scientist in Protein Sciences & CMC, Upstream Processing. Before their time at MorphoSys, Stefan worked at Miltenyi Biotec from 2003 to 2010, where they started as a Diploma Student and progressed to become a Postdoc and PhD Student. Stefan also gained experience as a Project Thesis/Student at Octapharma in 2002 and as a Student at Berghof Analytik + Umweltengineering GmbH & Co. KG in 2000.

Stefan Kaden earned their PhD (Dr.rer.nat.) in Immunology and Biology from Universität Witten/Herdecke from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Reutlingen University from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Dipl. Ing in Biochem. Stefan'sfield of study during this time was Chemistry with Marketing. In 2002, they also briefly studied Biochemistry, Genetics, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Basic Marketing at Swinburne University of Technology. No specific degree was listed for this short-term study period.
