Paul Neumaier

Paul Neumaier has extensive work experience in the financial sector, with a focus on sales and new business development. Paul currently holds the position of SVP, New Business Sales NA - Treasury at ION since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as SVP, Head of New Business Sales - Derivatives at ION from January 2019 to January 2020.

Before joining ION, Paul worked at Fidessa from 2010 to 2018. During their time there, they held the role of Senior Vice President, Head of New Business Sales NA from May 2012 to December 2018. Prior to that, they served as Vice President, Head of New Business Sales NA from March 2010 to May 2012, where they were responsible for managing and developing new business for Fidessa's sell-side equity order management solutions in North America, with a focus on growing SaaS footprint to large regional banks and broker dealers.

Paul's earlier experience includes working at Bloomberg LP from 2000 to 2010, where they held various roles such as Sales Director, Americas - Equity Trading Solutions from September 2008 to March 2010, Head of New Business, North America - Fixed Income Trading Solutions from December 2005 to September 2008, Regional Sales Manager - Multi Asset Trading Solutions from November 2003 to December 2005, and Strategic Account Management from January 2000 to November 2003.

Before their time at Bloomberg LP, Paul worked at Bear Stearns Companies from 1996 to 1999, where they held roles in FX Sales & Trading from November 1998 to December 1999 and Derivatives Operations from March 1996 to November 1998.

Paul Neumaier holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John's University, The Peter J. Tobin College of Business.
