Vijay Patel

Vijay Patel has more than 20 years of work experience in the creative design industry. Vijay is currently the Global Head of Brand at ION since March 2023. Prior to that, Vijay worked at Multiplex, where they held various roles such as Creative Design Lead, Head of Communications, Senior Creative Design Manager, and Graphic Design Manager from 2016 to 2021. Before joining Multiplex, they worked at Galliford Try as a Creative Design Manager and Creative Designer from 2005 to 2015. Vijay started their career as a Graphic Designer at Glazier Design in 2003 and also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Inspire Creative in 2002.

Vijay Patel received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from De Montfort University from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1998, they obtained an HND in Graphic Design from Buckinghamshire New University. Additionally, Vijay Patel has attained various certifications, including a Certified Brand Specialist and Certified Brand Strategist from LEVEL C in 2022, as well as completing an After Effects Introduction course at Media Training Ltd in 2021. In 2023, they acquired multiple certifications from LinkedIn and the Brand Master Academy, focusing on logo design challenges, brand strategy, thought leadership, journey mapping, brand leadership, and writing for a dream career.
