Christine Hardigree

Christine Hardigree serves as the Department Chair and Associate Professor at Iona University since August 2016, previously holding the position of Assistant Professor. In addition, Christine is an Advisory Board Member for Beereaders since December 2020. Earlier experience includes instructing an English Linguistics course at City College of New York during the summer of 2015. Christine earned a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Virginia in 2015 and has held various educational roles such as Literacy Specialist at YES Prep Public Schools and English Teacher at CICS Northtown Academy. Educational qualifications also include a Master's Degree in Education from National Louis University and a BA in English and Spanish from The University of Texas at Austin.
