Laura Prostano

Laura Prostano is the Executive Assistant to the President at Iona College. Laura has held this position for 5 years and 10 months. Prior to their current role, Laura served as the Chief of Staff at Manhattanville College for 9 years and 7 months. In this role, they were a key member of the College leadership team and a trusted advisor to the President. Laura was responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the President's Office and the Board of Trustees, as well as serving as the Secretary of the Board. Laura was also involved in the development, coordination, and management of College-wide programs and initiatives across departments, to ensure the achievement of short and long term strategic objectives. This included working with departments such as Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, Enrollment Management, Institutional Advancement, Student Affairs, Operations and Facilities, and Security. Laura's experience and dedication to their work make their an invaluable asset to Iona College.

Laura Prostano has a Master of Science (MS) from Manhattanville College in Human Resources and Organizational Management, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from the same school.
