Costantino Citro has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Costantino started their career as a Project Researcher at the University of Salerno, where they implemented a PC-based remote controller and worked on control systems for power converters and power grids. Costantino then transitioned to Renewable Electrical Energy Systems, serving as an R&D Engineer and focusing on the development and testing of inverter control algorithms for a hybrid power plant.
Afterwards, Costantino joined the University of Salerno as a Research Fellow, where they further refined their expertise in control techniques for grid-connected inverters. During this time, they also conducted tests on a three-phase converter controlled by a DSP.
In 2015, Costantino Citro joined Network Rail as a Senior Design Engineer. In this role, they led R&D activities related to control algorithms for railway traffic management systems and collaborated with external partners to develop modeling tools.
More recently, they worked at Arrival as a BMS Software Engineer. Here, they conducted research and development on advanced algorithms for Battery Management Systems, focusing on safety monitoring and state estimation. Costantino was responsible for model-based software development and contributed to the definition and testing of BMS requirements.
Costantino's most recent position is with IONATE, where they serve as a Senior Control Systems Engineer.
Costantino Citro obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Information Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Salerno in 2006. Costantino went on to pursue a Master's Degree in the same field at the same university, which they completed in 2010.
