James Eaton

James Eaton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and entrepreneurship. As the CEO and Co-Founder of IONETIC since January 2022, James has led innovative initiatives in the battery technology sector. In 2023, James was appointed as an RAEng ERA Foundation Enterprise Fellow at the Royal Academy of Engineering. Prior research roles include a position at Imperial College London, where James concentrated on battery pack design for automotive applications. Previous experience includes roles as a Battery Pack Researcher and Managing Director at North Bay Designs, along with consulting at Oliver Wyman and engineering positions at BBOXX and CERN. James holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.
