Alexander Yordanov, Ph.D.

Alexander Yordanov, Ph.D. has over 25 years of experience in the field of product development and radiochemistry. Alexander began their career in 1996 as a Cancer Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health. In 2002, they became an Assistant Research Professor at DUKE UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER-PARTNERS IN CARING. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as Director for Radiochemistry at IBA Molecular North America and then as Project Coordinator at Eczacıbaşı-Monrol Nuclear Products. From 2008 to 2011, they served as Product Manager at Bioscan, Inc. and then as Project Manager at Eczacıbaşı-Monrol Nuclear Products. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Director, Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing at ImaginAb. From 2019 to 2022, they were the Senior Radiochemist and Tech Service Lead at Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and is currently the Director, CMC Product Development at Ionetix Corporation.

Alexander Yordanov, Ph.D. received their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski between 1987 and 1992. Alexander then went on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from Tulane University between 1991 and 1996.
