Hannah Schafer

Hannah Schafer is an experienced educator currently serving as a 1st Grade Teacher at Ionia Public Schools since July 2023, while also gaining experience as a Student Teacher in a 5th-grade classroom. Prior to this, Hannah completed a teaching internship at Kenowa Hills Public Schools from January to July 2023. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Grand Valley State University, where involvement included serving as a Student Supervisor and Library Student Ambassador, enforcing COVID-19 regulations, and working as a Front Desk Assistant in Housing and Residence Life. Previous roles include a Programming Intern at the Frankenmuth Historical Association and a Crew Member at McDonald's, demonstrating versatility and customer service skills. Hannah graduated from Portland High School in April 2019.
