Danilo Tait

Danilo Tait, MSc PhD MBA, has a diverse work experience in the life science technology industry. Danilo currently holds the position of Senior Business Director, Commercial Development EMEA at Ionpath, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based company specializing in high-definition spatial proteomics. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President Commercial Operations EMEA at Rebus Biosystems, where they contributed to the development of revolutionary tools for spatial omics.

Before joining Rebus Biosystems, Danilo worked as the General Manager Europe & Africa at MGI Tech Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of BGI Group, where they played a key role in providing effective and affordable healthcare solutions.

Danilo Tait has a diverse education history. In 1988, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, where they obtained an MSc (Master in Biological Sciences) from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in Bologna, Italy. In 1994, they began a Ph.D. program in Genome Analysis at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund in London, UK. The following year, they transferred and completed their Ph.D. at the Max-Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin, Germany, under the supervision of Professor Hans Lehrach. Between 2011 and 2015, Danilo pursued an MBA (Master in Business Administration) program at SMC University in Zug, Switzerland. Additionally, in 2018, they attended Mannheim Business School in Mannheim, Germany, where they focused their studies on Finance for Executives and M&A.
