Amrit Poudel has a diverse work experience in the field of quantum computing and solid-state physics. Amrit is currently working as a Staff Scientist at IonQ since May 2022. Prior to that, Amrit worked at Rigetti Computing as a Manager of Quantum Design from October 2020 to May 2022.

Before their role at Rigetti Computing, Amrit worked at Synopsys Inc as a Senior R&D Engineer from July 2018 to October 2020. In this role, they led a team in developing physics-based simulation tools for superconducting technologies and published key findings in a peer-reviewed journal.
