Rory Schlenker

Rory Schlenker has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Rory is currently working as the Sr. Director - Manufacturing & Product Engineering Operations at IonQ since December 2022. Prior to this, Rory worked as an Operations Management Consultant at a confidential management consulting company from July 2022 to December 2022. Rory also served as the Director Datacenter Operations at Facebook from May 2020 to March 2021.

Before their role at Facebook, Rory worked as a Management Consultant at PRO Unlimited - Infinera from May 2019 to March 2020. Rory then transitioned to Infinera, where they held multiple positions including General Manager - Pennsylvania Operations & Engineering from September 2018 to May 2019, and Senior Director of Operations from May 2002 to May 2019.

Rory's earlier experiences include serving as the Director of Process Platform Development at Agility Communications from July 2000 to May 2002, and as a Technical Manager / MTS at Lucent Technologies from May 1991 to July 2000.

Rory Schlenker obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. This education was pursued from 1984 to 1988.
