Burak Yasin Karakuş

Burak Yasin Karakuş currently serves as a Post Master’s Development Assistant at ionysis GmbH, contributing to the design and evaluation of a cost-efficient test setup for the electrochemical investigation of proton exchange membrane water electrolysis cells. Additionally, Burak is involved in the development of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell testbench. Previously, as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer-Institut für Solare Energiesysteme ISE, Burak focused on enhancing the matrix-shingle interconnection of solar cells using electrically conductive adhesives. Earlier experiences include an internship in research and development at Arçelik Global and a maintenance and renovation internship at DEVA Holding A.Ş. Burak also served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Middle East Technical University Northern Cyprus Campus. Burak Yasin Karakuş holds a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management from The University of Freiburg and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University Northern Cyprus Campus.
