Kristy Alballero

Kristy Alballero is the Co-Founder and COO at IOOGO, a company with a mission to make taxes and accounting simple and easy for everyone. Kristy has over 5 years of experience in the field, and has worked with countless startups across the United States to help them grow and succeed. In 2018, they launched IOOGO Tax, an IRS-approved software that allows most customers to file their taxes in 10 minutes or less. Over 12,000 taxpayers have successfully used the software to e-file their personal tax return in the first year.

Prior to IOOGO, Kristy worked as the Director of Products at Axxess, a healthcare technology company. Kristy was responsible for leading a team of product owners and managers in developing new products and features for the company. During their time at Axxess, they helped launch several new products that made a positive impact on the company’s bottom line.

Before Axxess, Kristy worked as a Product Development Manager at Availity, a healthcare information technology company. Kristy was responsible for leading a team of product developers in creating new software solutions for the healthcare industry. During their time at Availity, they helped launch several new products that were well-received by the healthcare community.

Kristy began their career as a Statistical Analyst at Accuro Healthcare Solutions, a healthcare consulting firm. Kristy was responsible for analyzing data and developing statistical models to help the company’s clients make better decisions about their health care needs. After 3 years at Accuro, they transitioned into a role as a Business Analyst at RemitDATA, a healthcare data analytics company. In this role, they were responsible for helping the company’s clients understand their data and make better decisions about their business.

After a year at RemitDATA, Kristy transitioned into a role as Senior Business Analyst at MedAssets, a healthcare technology company. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team of client service representatives who provided support to the company’s clients. After 2 years at MedAssets, they transitioned into their current role as Co-Founder and COO at IOOGO.

Kristy Alballero has an MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas in Healthcare Management, which they received in 2013. Kristy also has a degree in Statistics from the same school, which they received in 2005. In addition, they are a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the ScrumAlliance.
