Afraz Siddiqui

Afraz Siddiqui is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in mobile and digital technology. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Meta since April 2022, Afraz focuses on the WhatsApp iOS platform, emphasizing modularization, platformization, and scalability. As the founder of iOS Academy since August 2019, Afraz provides comprehensive software and IT services to businesses navigating digital transformation. Previous roles include Engineering at Microsoft, where Afraz contributed to mobile experiences for over 100 million users; Principal Software Engineer at Capital One, enhancing an award-winning iOS app for 65 million users; and Partner at ASN Digital, overseeing a diverse range of technical projects. Afraz’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Harvard University, a Certificate in IoT from MIT, and a B.S. in Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of New Haven.
