Michael Briers AO is a seasoned leader in innovation and technology with extensive experience in various executive roles. Currently serving as the Interim Chief Executive Officer and Founding Director of IoT Alliance Australia since February 2017, Michael also mentors at Startupbootcamp in FoodTech Tasmania. As a Co-Founder and Chair of The Salmon Project and an Independent Advisory Board member for the Investible Climatech Fund, Michael contributes to sustainable initiatives. Previous positions include Interim Chief Executive Officer at Fairtrade Australia & New Zealand, Industry Professor of Innovation at the University of Technology Sydney, and Founding CEO of Food Agility. Michael's academic credentials include a PhD in Change Management from UNSW and a B.Com Honours 1st Class in Management and Accounting from the University of Tasmania.
