Matt Hammond

Matt Hammond has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Matt is currently working as a Firmware Engineer at iota Biosciences, Inc. powered by Astellas since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Hardware Engineer at Verily Life Sciences from January 2019 to March 2023. Before that, they held the position of Senior Embedded Systems Engineer at Leaf Healthcare from April 2012 to January 2019. Matt also gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at IGN Entertainment in 2011. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Electrical Engineer at UC Berkeley from June 2010 to September 2010.

Matt Hammond earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering/Neuroengineering at UCLA from 2010 to 2011.
